Melanie S. Kantor - Broker & Owner
As an insurance broker, Melanie Kantor has been helping small and large-group employers, individuals, and families, with health insurance products since 2004. She delights in making sure her clients have the most education possible while offering multiple options to meet their needs. Ms. Kantor has more than 20 years of successful sales and marketing experience specializing in the Human Resource and insurance industries. She has worked for Paychex, Inc., marketing Employer Flexible Spending Accounts Aka Cafeteria/FSA plans and 401ks.
While at Paychex she also taught CE-accredited classes to CPAs. After working with Paychex, Ms. Kantor was a territory manager in Denver for Gevity, one of the nation's largest PEOs which is now known as Tri-Net. She marketed Health, Life, Dental, and Vision benefits coupled with Human Resource Support, OSHA, and worker compensation coverage. Since 2013 she has been a Certified Connect for Health Broker (Colorado's State Marketplace Exchange) and spent many hours helping people with health insurance coverage at their downtown Denver 16th Street Mall Enrollment center. Melanie can determine and advise those who may be entitled to subsidies or APTC (Advanced Premium Tax Credits) for “Obamacare” plans. She is President of Benefits and Percs, an insurance agency that offers, Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Medicare Supplements, and Travel Insurance. And can also provide Critical Illness, Heart, Stroke, and Disability plans.
She earned her B.A. in Organizational Communication from the University of Denver and is an avid skier and rollerblader.
Elisa Korf - Administrative Assistant
Elisa recently celebrated her first anniversary as the Administrative Assistant for Benefits and Percs. As a Colorado native, she graduated with a BA in Sociology and Psychology from a small Southern Colorado University. As a Case Manager for over nine years, she assisted individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). The following year she worked as a Social Worker with the Pueblo Department of Human Services before she moved into the field of healthcare. She is an avid reader, and she enjoys watching movies with her family. She also provides her clients with Tarot Card readings at a local Metaphysical store.
Mary Sellers - Part-Time Broker in Training
Administrative Assistant with more than 18 years of experience specializing in the human resource and insurance industries. She loves to ski.
